Should rural water supply projects adopt modular mobile water plants? First self-check against three types of conditions
Whether a rural township water supply project is suitable for a modular mobile water treatment plant depends on a four-level judgment: raw water quality fluctuations and effluent standards, site and transportation/hoisting conditions, funding availability pace and construction schedule, and expectations for future expansion and relocation. This article presents a layer-by-layer self-assessment path in the form of a decision tree to help water supply utilities and municipal and rural township project owners determine the technical route, and to clarify the information that needs to be supplemented to the project team at each step.
